Childrens Ministries

We are thrilled you are interested in our children's ministries! Our volunteers love children and generously give their time and talents to create a safe and fun environment for your kids. We are committed to intentionally blessing every child. We begin with the loving arms of our volunteers for the youngest child, to Bible stories and truths of God's love for them for the preschoolers, to opportunities given to the older students for a relationship with Jesus in Sunday School classes, Children's Church programs, AWANA and VBS.

Childcare up to age two is available during all services, and parents are issued pagers should they need to be contacted. Nursing mothers can find privacy here. Vivian Wilson directs this program.

On Sundays toddlers (ages 2 and 3) begin learning Biblical truths in a room designed for them. After their lessons, there are many playtimes and activities that help them love coming to church.

Pre-School and Kindergarten children ages four and five are ministered to throughout the morning each Sunday during the church services as well as the Sunday School hour by a team of volunteers. Each caring leader interacts with the kids to assure that they will carry their Bible lessons home with them. Children's Church meets in room 203.

Sunday School classes for children ages 4  to grade 6 promote spiritual growth through age appropriate in-depth Bible lessons and hands-on activities under the direction of Gretchen Pierce and her team of dedicated Sunday School teachers.

Our goal through these programs is to nurture kids in their faith, leading them to a personal relationship with Christ and teaching them the truths of God's Word so they can be life-long disciples. Please contact Nadine Carlson about these ministries. 452-1687
